Hard flooring that transforms a space
Engineered timber, laminate and bamboo — modern alternatives to carpet for kitchens, living areas and commercial spaces.
When carpet isn't the answer
Kitchens, hallways, dining areas, offices — some spaces call for hard flooring. It's easier to clean, stands up to moisture better than carpet, and gives a room a completely different character.
We supply and install engineered timber, laminate and bamboo flooring from leading brands. Same process as our carpet installations: we advise, you choose, we measure free, and our team lays it.
Hard flooring options
Engineered Timber
Real timber veneer over a stable core — you get the warmth and grain of natural wood without the expansion issues of solid timber. Engineered timber works well with underfloor heating and is available in a wide range of species, from light oak to deep walnut.
It's the premium hard flooring option and suits living rooms, dining areas and open-plan spaces where you want the look and feel of real timber.
Laminate
A photographic layer over a dense fibreboard core, laminate gives you the look of timber or stone at a fraction of the cost. Modern laminate is tough, scratch-resistant and surprisingly realistic — it clicks together easily and can be installed quickly.
It's a practical choice for rentals, hallways, and bedrooms where you want a hard floor without the investment of real timber.
Bamboo
Harder than most hardwoods and fast-growing, bamboo is a sustainable flooring option that looks distinctive. Strand-woven bamboo is particularly tough — it resists dents and scratches well, making it suitable for high-traffic residential and light commercial use.
Available in natural, carbonised and stained finishes, bamboo brings a contemporary feel to kitchens, living areas and hallways.
Why choose hard flooring?
Easy to Clean
Spills wipe up. Dust sweeps away. No deep-cleaning required — just regular sweeping or mopping keeps hard floors looking good.
Long Lasting
Quality engineered timber and bamboo floors last decades. Even laminate holds up well in moderate-traffic areas with proper care.
Adds Value
Hard flooring is a selling point for home buyers. It modernises a space and often increases the perceived value of a property.
